Cognac de Montleau is a Cognac which has its origins in the middle of the 19th century, when the family de Montleau developed some “Eaux de vie Vieille de Cognac”.

Cognac de Montleau was sold in the most upper-class Parisian hotels, such as the famous Hotel Continental. In 1883, Mr Legay, director of the Continental, described it as “full of delicacy with delicious flavours which gives it a very rare balance.”

Today, based in Grande Champagne, the most prestigious Cognac vineyard, Cognac de Montleau, continue the tradition of excellence
